THE MOKSACVPR Outstanding Member Award is presented annually to a nominee whose ideas, committee work, and/or leadership have benefited the organization in a significant way. A committee, consisting of a chair (the President or President-elect), all Board members, and the last award recipient are charged with selection of each year's recipient. The Outstanding Member Award is presented at the annual MOKSACVPR education conference. The award recipient is honored with a recognition plaque and gift of a one-year membership to the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation.
Eligibility criteria for the MOKSACVPR Outstanding Member Award include:
- Current member of MOKSACVPR in good standing
- MOKSACVPR member for a minimum of two years AACVPR member for minimum of one year.
- Currently active in a field related to Cardiovascular and/or Pulmonary Rehab
- Not a recipient of the award in the previous the past 3 years
