Dear Conference Attendees and MOKSACVPR members,
We want to assure you that we take the health and well-being of our community and members very seriously. Like you, we’re closely monitoring the quickly developing effects of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
To help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and in accordance with CDC guidelines, it became increasing obvious our Annual Conference on May 1-2, 2020 couldn’t be held as scheduled.
The board and education committee met to discuss other alternatives, but ultimately decided the best and safest option was to cancel the conference and not reschedule. We are hoping many of our fabulous speakers will be wiling to come next year; so be on the lookout for your favorite speakers.
We will be issuing refunds over the next few weeks, so please bear with us as our treasurer works through those. If you mailed a check that had not been deposited yet, we will mail those back to you for disposal.
We are currently planning a program certification workshop for the summer time. Hopefully we will be on the down slope of this pandemic and will be able to hold it as scheduled. Please be looking for details to come on that great event.
We are all in this together. Thank you to all of you, doing our part in battling this pandemic. We here at MOKSACVPR are working in our hospitals just like you at yours and certainly appreciate the challenges in front of everybody when we get to either re-open our programs or are able to ramp back to full strength.
